Who the hell writes this?

Me, yesterday

I’m William, the presence behind this site.  Some words you might use to describe me include a raconteur, a wiseass, a Francophile, a Southerner, and “that fat guy over there in the corner with the MacBook Pro – no, not him, the other one.”  My day job is in medical appeals and accounts receivable in a billing office, and by night I play and write about video games.  As a child of the 1990s, I love the Sega Genesis, nu metal, baggy blue jeans, and beige Macintosh computers.  As a child of the 2000s, the Xbox makes me go weak in the knees, the Power Mac G5 still makes me swoon, and KT Tunstall’s music still makes me smile.  I’ve dabbled in a little bit of everything as an adult: photography, hiking, software development, computer repair, office cleaning, you name it.  In 2011, I completed my bachelor’s degree at the University of Tennessee.  I followed that with a diploma at the Tennessee College of Applied Technology in 2018.  As it stands now, I’m training to become a certified medical auditor.

In my spare time, I maintain my blogs, play way too many video games, take lots of pictures, and tinker with computers, game consoles, and pretty much anything else with a clock chip.

My initials are WAE, and I live in Tennessee – hence my short, descriptive handle: tnwae.
